3 more journal apps to try

I’ve already mentioned that Day One is my favorite digital journal app. However, let’s say Day One isn’t for you. What are some of the other digital journal apps out there? Here are three apps that I think are worth trying (and they all have free versions!).

  1. DabbleMe
The thing I think is neat about DabbleMe is that you can post entries by Email. So you’ll obviously need to have access to an Email account in order to use DabbleMe, but there’s no need to download any additional apps. There is a paid version of DabbleMe as well, but honestly, for what you get, I don’t think it’s worth the money. Still, the free version might be good for someone who wants to posts entries via Email and doesn’t have to worry about additional apps.
  2. Dream Journal Ultimate
This is a good option for someone who wants a digital journal app with some structure. Dream Journal Ultimate is exactly what it sounds like: it’s a place to keep track of your dreams. If that appeals to you, this might be the app for you.
  3. 5 Minute Journal app
I believe there’s a physical book version of this as well, which you may have heard of (full disclosure: I haven’t tried it). The app version is free and, like Dream Journal Ultimate, might be useful for someone who wants a digital journal app with some structure. 5 Minute Journal gives you prompts such as “daily affirmations” and “3 amazing things that happened today…”

So those are some digital journal apps that I’ve come across that I think might be worth checking out. Have you tried any of them? What did you think of them? Alternately, have I missed something groundbreaking? I’d love to hear your thoughts and ideas.
